1. Seller and scope
These terms govern paid services offered through Absurdiland by Jesús Cid Aragonès, NIF 39723410H, C/ Formentera 14, 43205 Reus, Tarragona, Spain. Contact: hello@absurdiland.com.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that the order information is accurate, that they have legal capacity to contract and that they accept these terms. A clear order confirmation creates the contract.
2. Offers
Commission a Catastrophe — USD 69
One custom, shareable mini-app based on one accepted premise, delivered in public or private mode. The standard scope includes one reasonable revision and a target delivery time of 72 hours.
Chaos Club — USD 5/month
A recurring membership that may include prompt voting, priority suggestions and downloadable digital artifacts. It becomes available only when the checkout clearly marks it as active.
Sponsor a Failure — USD 199
One disclosed sponsor credit and link attached to one accepted experiment, with reasonable premise collaboration and a permanent archive credit while that experiment remains published.
Commercial pages and checkout may contain more specific scope information. If a written quote or project agreement conflicts with these general terms, the specifically agreed document controls for that order.
3. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are displayed in US dollars. Any tax, currency conversion or other mandatory charge applicable to the customer is shown before the payment order is placed. Payment is processed by the provider named in checkout. Absurdiland does not store complete card details.
The seller may reject a premise or sponsorship involving illegality, harassment, deception, infringement, explicit sexual content, political persuasion, dangerous instructions, personal data or unacceptable reputational risk. A rejected paid order is refunded in full.
4. Commission delivery
- The 72-hour target starts when payment and a complete, acceptable brief have both been received.
- The customer must answer essential clarification questions promptly. Waiting time for the customer pauses the delivery clock.
- One revision may be requested within seven days of delivery and must remain within the accepted premise and original scope.
- Additional concepts, substantial redesigns, integrations or revisions may require a separate quote.
- Public mode allows publication in the Absurdiland archive and promotional clips. Private mode excludes public archive publication unless the customer later agrees.
If a delay caused by Absurdiland becomes material, the customer may accept a revised deadline or cancel the undelivered work for a refund. Mandatory rights concerning conformity remain unaffected.
5. Membership and cancellation
Chaos Club renews monthly until cancelled. Customers can cancel before the next renewal using the payment provider's customer portal or by contacting Absurdiland. Cancellation prevents future charges; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Benefits may evolve as the project develops. Material reductions will be communicated in advance when reasonably possible, and mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
6. Sponsorship conditions
Sponsorship is subject to creative and brand-safety approval. The sponsor must own or have permission to use every logo, name, link and claim supplied. Sponsorship buys the agreed creative placement, not a guarantee of traffic, clicks, sales, press coverage or social reach.
If Absurdiland rejects the sponsorship before work begins, the payment is refunded. Once approved work has begun, cancellation and any proportionate refund depend on completed work and mandatory consumer law.
7. Withdrawal rights and refunds
Consumers may have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Where the customer expressly asks for a service to begin during that period, a withdrawal may require payment for the proportion already performed. The right may be lost after the service is fully performed when the customer gave the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement.
For immediately supplied digital content, access begins only under the consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law. This does not remove rights relating to faulty, non-conforming or undelivered content.
Outside mandatory withdrawal and conformity rights, refunds are granted when Absurdiland rejects an order, cannot provide the agreed service, or agrees that the delivered work materially fails the accepted scope and cannot be remedied reasonably. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method.
To request cancellation, withdrawal or a remedy, email hello@absurdiland.com with the order email and a clear request.
8. Customer content and rights
The customer keeps ownership of material they supply and grants Absurdiland the limited rights needed to create and deliver the order. For public mode and sponsorship, that licence also covers publication, hosting and reasonable promotion of the resulting experiment.
Unless exclusivity or source-code transfer is agreed in writing, the customer receives a non-exclusive, worldwide right to access, use and share the delivered mini-app for lawful purposes. Absurdiland retains its pre-existing tools, templates, brand, general techniques and reusable code.
9. AI-assisted creation
Absurdiland uses AI-assisted creative and coding tools. The customer acknowledges that generative output may vary and that absolute originality cannot be guaranteed. The operator remains the contractual contact and reviews deliverables before publication.
10. Warranty and liability
Paid work will be supplied with reasonable care and in material accordance with the accepted brief. Experimental software may not be compatible with every device or browser and is not supplied for safety-critical or professional decision-making.
Nothing limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury where limitation is unlawful, or mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. For business customers, aggregate liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
11. Law, complaints and changes
Spanish law applies, while consumers retain mandatory protections of their country of residence. Consumers may use the courts designated by applicable consumer law. Business-to-business disputes are subject to the courts of Reus, Spain, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Complaints should first be sent to hello@absurdiland.com. Updated terms apply only prospectively unless a change is required by law or expressly accepted for an existing contract.
