2. What the public website records
Absurdiland stores aggregate event totals such as page views, experiment launches, shares and commercial-offer clicks. The application does not write IP addresses, email addresses, device identifiers, advertising IDs, fingerprints or individual browsing histories into those counters. The totals are not used to identify or profile visitors.
Hosting and security providers necessarily process technical request data to deliver and protect the website. They may process IP addresses, security signals and short-lived technical cookies under their own security and infrastructure controls. The operator does not use those signals for advertising or behavioural analytics.
3. Data you choose to provide
Email and enquiries
If you email us, we process your name, address, message and any information you include to answer the enquiry, take pre-contractual steps, provide support or defend legal claims.
Orders and commissions
When checkout is active, we may receive your contact details, billing status, chosen delivery mode, project premise and other order fields. Full card data is handled by the payment provider, not stored by Absurdiland.
Social networks
If you interact with an Absurdiland account, the relevant social network processes your account data. We use the visible interaction only to respond, moderate or manage the relationship.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- To answer enquiries and prepare an order: steps requested before a contract and legitimate interest in responding.
- To fulfil paid services and provide support: performance of a contract.
- To issue records, meet tax obligations and handle disputes: compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests.
- To keep the website secure and understand aggregate usage: legitimate interest in operating and improving the service without tracking individuals.
- To send optional marketing in the future: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. No marketing list is currently operated.
5. Providers and international transfers
Data may be processed only as needed by hosting, security, email, professional-advice and payment providers. This currently includes the infrastructure used to host Absurdiland and, once activated, the checkout provider identified on the payment page. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards permitted by applicable law.
Personal data is not sold. It is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Retention
- Enquiries are kept only while they remain active and for a reasonable period to document the response.
- Contract, invoice and transaction records are retained for the periods required by tax, accounting and consumer law.
- Project files are retained while needed to deliver, support and archive the agreed work.
- Anonymous aggregate counters may be retained indefinitely because they do not identify an individual.
7. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send the request to hello@absurdiland.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity.
You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
8. Children and automated decisions
Paid services are not directed to children. Absurdiland does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects through automated profiling.
9. Changes
Material changes will be published here with a new effective date. If a change requires consent, it will not be applied on the basis of silence or continued browsing.
